Two Islamist Terror Attacks Expose Deadly Risks of Democrat Immigration Policies
**By Oreo Express**
*March 13, 2026*
On March 12, 2026, America suffered two shocking attacks in a single day. In West Bloomfield Township, Michigan, 41-year-old Ayman Mohamad Ghazali, a Lebanon-born naturalized U.S. citizen, rammed his truck into Temple Israel synagogue—one of the country’s largest Reform congregations—and opened fire before security guards killed him. In Norfolk, Virginia, 36-year-old Mohamed Bailor Jalloh, originally from Sierra Leone and a former Army National Guard member with a 2016 conviction for attempting to support ISIS, stormed an ROTC classroom at Old Dominion University, shouted “Allahu Akbar,” killed Lt. Col. Brandon Shah, wounded two others, and was subdued and killed by students. Both men entered the U.S. legally, gained citizenship, and carried out targeted acts now under FBI investigation as potential terrorism.
These tragedies stem directly from the immigration policies aggressively expanded under Barack Obama and championed by Democrats for decades. Obama raised refugee ceilings to as high as 110,000 annually and accelerated admissions from high-risk Muslim-majority countries like Lebanon, Sierra Leone, Syria, Somalia, and Iraq, often with rushed or incomplete vetting. Family-chain migration, asylum loopholes, and diversity visa programs allowed entrants who frequently failed to assimilate, sometimes fostering communities hostile to American values. Democrats repeatedly blocked Republican efforts for merit-based systems, enhanced screening, and temporary pauses on high-risk nations, dismissing security concerns as “Islamophobia” or racism.
The common thread in these and past attacks—San Bernardino, Pulse nightclub, Boston Marathon—is clear: legal entry from certain regions, followed by radicalization enabled by lax policies and multiculturalism that forbids honest criticism of incompatible ideologies. As U.S.-Iran tensions escalate, imported radicals from jihadist-influenced areas are increasingly activating threats. Obama’s mass importation laid the foundation; subsequent Democrat-led policies kept the pipeline open despite repeated warnings from intelligence agencies.
Enough is enough. America needs controlled, merit-based, assimilation-focused immigration—not the suicidal experiment of unvetted mass entry from terror-prone regions. It’s time to end refugee programs from high-risk countries, deport known radicals, enforce strict assimilation, and put Americans first. Yesterday’s bloodshed shows the true cost of Democrat “compassion”: American lives. The blood is on the hands of those who opened the gates wide and ignored the danger. Security isn’t bigotry—it’s survival.
